Blog #3: Compare/Contrast Abstract Macro Photos

The stronger photo is Photo B. It's stronger because there is a very clear, prominent conrtast between the stem of the plant (which is black) and the yellowish-orange background. It's also stronger because there is a distinct subject of the photo.

Two ways the weaker photo could be improved are to hone in on the subject of the photo instead of making it broad and vague; this way it is now does not really represent macro very well in my perspective. Also, I don't really like all the brown of the photo in comparison to the very green trees, so maybe finding another thing to contrast with the dark green trees would be good.
